Accounting Administrative Assistant
Harbour Key Limited are looking to build their already successful team. We are seeking an excellent all round experienced administrator.
The main role of an accounting administrative assistant is to act as support for the Compliance department of the company. The daily activities of an accounting administrative assistant may well include full client take on duties, data inputting onto our accounting software Digita, answering the telephone, filing, faxing, assisting visitors, managing appointments and managing the daily office schedule. Additional, administrative duties may include working on special projects and managing the office. Accounting tasks, such as preparing checklists, creating budgets, preparing and submitting tax forms, coding documents, compiling financial records and managing inventory records will form part of the role.
Client communication will be an important part of the role. Liaising with clients for information, tax payments and helping to ensure deadlines are achieved.
An accounting administrative assistant needs to be skilled in mathematics, communication, time management and typing. It is also important to have an excellent grasp of English grammar and spelling, work well with others and be detail oriented.
In addition, administrative support direct to the management in all areas of the business.
Education / Previous Employment Information
Previous office administration with a specialism in accounting or similar field desirable. Requirements – office procedures, excellent communication skills, client relationship, word processing and bookkeeping. Experience of using Word & Excel.
Employment and Salary Information
Based at our Cheltenham offices. Full time with the potential of flexibility for the right candidate. Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
